ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Water and Power Tasneem Ahmed Qureshi on Tuesday said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) believed in reconciliation policy and resolving all the issues adopting it.
Talking to a private tv news channel, he said PPP is budy in providing relief to poor people of the country.
He said the current government has started many development projects to facilitate the poor masses.
Replying to a question, the minister said that it was the duty of the provinces to aware the people about the disasters.
He said the federal government was taking many measures to overcome the natural disasters in the country.
Tasneem Qureshi said that forests are playing vital role in the protection of environment.
He asked the provinces to come forward and create awareness among the gereral public about the role of forests.He said strict action should be taken against the timber mafia.
