pak afghan trade 400ISLAMABAD: The business community here welcomed decision of the Afghan Government to grant multiple visas to Pakistani businessmen.

Talking to APP, Tariq Mehmood, President Attock Chamber of Commerce and Industry said visa facilitation for the business community of Pakistan would help boost bilateral trade relations, improve economic growth and benefit people of the two countries.

"Presently the nearest and easiest target for the country's export should be Afghanistan and the Pakistani businessmen would find it more easy to market their products in Afghanistan", Mr. Tariq added.

He however, seemed to be concerned about the security issues in both the countries and urged the concerned authorities of the two countries to address security problems to facilitate the businessmen.

He said the Pakistani businessmen had also held meetings with members of Afghanistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry to talk about enhancing trade relations between the two countries and security issues for the businessmen of both sides.
