A speedy truck smashed three youngsters to death in Pir Makki police precincts on Sunday, police and rescuers said. According to police, three youngsters were traveling on a motorcycle in Pir Makki when a speeding truck overran them, killing all of them on the spot. The deceased were identified as Arsalan, Ahmad and Akhter.
The truck driver fled from the scene soon after the incident. Police said they were looking for the driver after registration of an FIR. Meanwhile, the chief minister took notice of the incident and sought a report from the administration and police. He directed them to provide justice to the aggrieved family as soon as possible.
