US commerce chief Wilbur Ross arrives in Pakistan, to meet PM Khan
- Secretary Ross is expected to meet with Pakistan government officials and US business leaders doing business in Pakistan.

The United States Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross arrived in Pakistan today (Wednesday), where he will meet Prime Minister Imran Khan and other top officials.
Secretary Ross is expected to meet with Pakistan government officials and US business leaders doing business in Pakistan.
Earlier, Ross tweeted that he is looking forward to meet Prime Minister Imran Khan during his visit.
“As President Trump said this week, ‘our relationship with Pakistan is a very good one.’ I look forward to meeting with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad today on ways to boost trade and investment between the U.S. and Pakistan,” the advisor tweeted.

Meanwhile, Adviser to Prime Minister of Pakistan for Commerce, Industry and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood welcomed Ross visit. As per reports, Dawood will push the US secretary to grant access to Pakistani businessmen to the US markets. The advisor will also ask the US secretary to convene a meeting of the Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA) Council as soon as possible.
