EU 2019/20 soybean imports 8.7mn T by Feb. 16, rapeseed 4.2mn T

• Soymeal imports so far in 2019/20 were at 11.29 million tonnes, up 4pc, while palm oil imports stood at 3.38 million tonnes, down 17pc.

PARIS: European Union soybean imports in the 2019/20 season that started on July 1 had reached 8.74 million tonnes by Feb. 16, official data showed on Monday.

That was 5pc lower than the volume cleared by Feb. 10 last year, the data showed.
