Jordan seeks to buy 120,000 tonnes feed barley

Jordan's state grain buyer has issued an international tender to purchase 120,000 tonnes of animal feed barley to be sourced from optional origins, European traders said on Thursday. Tender deadline is Feb. 12, traders said.

It is Jordan's first reported barley tender since April 2019. In the past few months, Jordan has struggled to buy grains in international tenders after changed terms for quality specifications and payment reduced participation by international trading houses.
