Unilever Pakistan Foods Limited has appointed Amir R. Paracha as Director and Chief Executive of the company effective from 1st February 2020.

The company in its filing to Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) informed that Shazia Syed, the ongoing Director and Chief Executive is being transferred to Rotterdam and has submitted her resignation from the Directorship and Chief Executive of the company.

“The Board accepted the resignation of Shazia Syed and as Director and Chief Executive of the company with effect from 31st January 2020, and recorded appreciation for her services during her tenure on the Board,” said the company.

The company recorded profit of Rs5,359 million in 2018, as compared to Rs4,834 million recorded in 2017.

Furthermore, Reckitt Benckiser, a global leader in consumer health and hygiene, announced the appointment of Kashan Hasan as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Pakistan, the company said in a statement.

Hasan has been associated with Reckitt Benckiser for the past 12 years, and has served in various successful roles across the globe in Pakistan, the UK, South Africa, Egypt and the Middle East, the company added.
