KARACHI: Gold surged by Rs 214 to Rs 48,985 per 10 grams in the local market Friday as its international price improved to $ 1,655 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also increased by Rs 250 to Rs 57,150.
Silver closed higher at Rs 887.14 per 10 grams.
