Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali has said the targets entrusted to Assistant Commissioners in order to raise the quality of departmental services and insuring the good governance for implementing the govt's policies and public welfare in letter and spirit.

He was holding the meeting the Assistant Commissioner of the district and entrusted them more than 22 targets for performing govt duties in organized manner.

He directed the ACs for improving the administrative affairs in their respective tehsils and to conduct monitoring of different departments at tehsil level to check their performance.

Giving details of the targets, the Deputy Commissioner said that revenue cases should be disposed off without delay by the ACs besides accelerating the recovery campaign of different govt dues.

He said that the ACs would be responsible to control the price hike, cleanliness, city beautification, anti dengue measures, removal of encroachments, inspection of govt schools, THQ Hospitals and health centers, Anti Smog activities, checking the land record centers, inspection of petrol pumps, conversion of tree plantation, supervision of auctions of fruit and vegetable markets, killing of stray dogs, identification of Benami properties, implementation of marriage act, disposal of complaints, swiftly received from Pakistan Citizen Portal and other given tasks.

The DC said that the ACs should actively performed the field visits and inspection reports be sent to him.

He said that the medical machinery should be functional in the govt health institutions besides ensuring the availability of medicines, staff and lab facilities. He said that the public should be entertained through open door policy by redressing their complaints and issues without delay.

The Deputy Commissioner made it clear that performance of the ACs would be reviewed on weekly basis and no negligence and carelessness would be tolerated. ACs assured the DC for delivering best services to achieve the set targets.
