PSX close of day 17-Oct-2019

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Thursday at 18,722.11 points with a negative change of -274.73 and volume of 98,507,500 shares. High and Low were 19,069.45 and 18,670.60 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 4 were up, 25 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 137,994,720 shares. Total companies traded were 364 of which 109 were positive, 234 were negative and 21 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 64,913,520 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 8,088,500 shares.
