KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Thursday at 18,105.72 points with a positive change of 279.20 and volume of 206,817,300 shares. High and Low were 18,201.73 and 17,816.41 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 28 were up, 2 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 324,260,250 shares. Total companies traded were 384 of which 311 were positive, 63 were negative and 10 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 39,117,700 shares. It was followed by Power Generation and Distribution with a total traded volume of 37,759,000 shares.
