KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Tuesday at 16,523.42 points with a negative change of -10.72 and volume of 77,331,500 shares. High and Low were 16,559.39 and 16,106.95 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 23 were up, 7 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 119,772,950 shares. Total companies traded were 331 of which 181 were positive, 131 were negative and 19 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 19,917,000 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 15,702,600 shares.
