RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Tuesday at 16,928.74 points with a negative change of -65.38 and volume of 34,284,100 shares. High and Low were 17,032.54 and 16,887.18 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 17 were up, 11 were down and 2 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 51,288,820 shares. Total companies traded were 314 of which 160 were positive, 134 were negative and 20 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 13,528,300 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 5,620,700 shares.
