LAHORE: Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi Friday held a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at his assembly chamber.
Both discussed various matters of mutual interest including public welfare schemes, further improving the working relationship and agreed that both would continue to work jointly for the welfare and prosperity of people of the province.
Talking on the occasion, the chief minister said that opposition was facing disintegration.
Prime Minister Imran Khan was committed to saving the country from the menace of corruption.
He made it clear, "Opposition's drama will not work now and we will jointly continue serving the masses."
Ch. Pervaiz Elahi said the people were deceived in the name of development during the previous tenure, adding that jugglery of fake Khadim-e-Aala had been exposed before the people.
The opposition faced defeat at every front because it had no agenda, he added.
