KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Thursday at 19,177.35 points with a positive change of 414.29 and volume of 152,232,500 shares. High and Low were 19,278.52 and 18,763.06 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 24 were up, 6 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 227,706,050 shares. Total companies traded were 359 of which 267 were positive, 75 were negative and 17 were unchanged.

Commercial Banks was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 33,205,900 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 32,231,000 shares.
