Buzdar, Dr Salman discuss provincial economy

LAHORE: Advisor to the Punjab Chief Minister on Economic Affairs and Planning Dr. Salman Shah called on Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar here at CM office on Monday and discussed matters regarding initiatives taken for strengthening the provincial economy and improvement in the performance of the departments.

It was decided in the meeting to take prompt action for stabilizing the economy of the province besides improving the performance of the departments.

The chief minister said that Punjab was rich in natural resources and taking benefit from these resources was need of the hour, adding, "We are the custodian of these resources and transparent utilization of government resources would be ensured at every level."

Usman Buzdar assured to provide his full cooperation to Dr. Salman Shah for strengthening of provincial economy.

Dr. Salman Shah said that Punjab was engine of growth for Pakistan and economy would flourish with development and progress of Punjab. He said that he would utilize all his abilities and experiences for the growth of the economy of the province. Later, Usman Buzdar congratulated Dr. Salman Shah for holding responsibilities as Advisor of Economic Affairs and Planning.
