lhr-stockLAHORE: Bearish trend prevailed in Lahore Stock Exchange on Monday as it shed 15.34 points, following the LSE-25 index opened with 3706.08 and closed at 3690.74 points.

The market's overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 23.399 million shares to close against previous turnover of 22.856 million shares, showing an upward move of 543,660 shares. While, out of the total 103 active scrips 37 moved up, 41 remained equal and 25 shed values.

Oil and Gas Development Corporation Limited (OGCL), Engro Corporation Limited and Pakistan State Oil Company Limited were major gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs3.35, Rs1.76 and Rs1.50 respectively.

Attock Refinery Limited, Fauji Fertilizer Company, MCB Bank Limited lost their per share value by Rs3.44, Rs2.20 and Rs1.80 respectively. The Volume Leader of the day included Silk Bank Limited (Saudi) with 5.124 million shares, NIB Bank Limited with 4.319 million shares and Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 3.378 million shares.
