PARIS: European Union soft wheat exports in the 2018/19 season that started last July had reached 16.5 million tonnes (mln t) by April 21, down 2 percent from a year earlier, European Commission data showed on Tuesday.
EU 2018/19 barley exports stood at 3.65 mln t, down 23 percent from a year ago.
EU 2018/19 maize imports were at 19.9 mln t, up 41 percent versus a year earlier.
