The US Treasury Department on Tuesday sold $26 billion of one-year bills at an interest rate of 2.360 percent, which was the lowest interest rate at an auction of this T-bill maturity since last July, Treasury data showed.
The ratio of bids to the amount offered was 3.69, the highest reading since September. This gauge of overall auction demand was 3.60 at the prior one-year T-bill sale in February.
