UK Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UKPCCI) delegation comprised of 15 members under the leadership of its President Amjad Khan called on Vice Chairperson Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab Ch Waseem Akhtar, here on Sunday.
The matters of mutual understanding and the problems faced by Overseas Pakistanis came under discussion during the meeting. Vice Chairperson Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab Ch Waseem Akhtar briefed the delegation regarding the performance of the commission and told that it is one of the top priorities of PTI-leadership to facilitate overseas Pakistanis.
Prime Minister Imran Khan is taking keen interest and the formation of Taskforce on Overseas Pakistanis Empl-oyment and Welfare under the supervision of Zulfi Bukhari is a proof of government's commitment for the welfare of Overseas Pakistanis. Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar is also striving for the betterment of overseas Pakistanis and has also approved initiatives to make Overseas Pakistanis Commission more vibrant and functional.
