Muhammad Naeem Khan has been appointed as new inspector general of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police while Muhammad Saleem Khan has been made new chief secretary of the province. In this respect, the Establishment Division issued notification on Saturday. The outgoing Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, Salahuddin Khan Mehsud has been appointed as IGP Azad Kashmir. He will replace Muhammad Naeem Khan.
KP Chief Secretary Naveed Kamran Baloch was also transferred from his post, which was subsequently given to grade-21 officer Muhammad Salim who is set to retire on October 30, 2019. Naveed Baloch has been asked to report to the Establishment Division for further posting. Naveed had been appointed as chief secretary by the caretaker government.
