Prime Minister Imran Khan Monday made surprise visits to District Headquarter (DHQ) and Holy Family hospitals here to examine the arrangements and facilities for the patients. Federal Health Minister Amir Kiani was accompanying the prime minister who also briefed the premier on the facilities being provided at the hospitals.
Special Assistant to PM Iftikhar Durrani and Senator Faisal Javed also accompanied him. The prime minister also reviewed the healthcare facilities as well as the cleanliness and medicine supply to the patients. He also took a round of the hospitals and inquired after the health of the under-treatment patients. The prime minister also interacted with the attendants of the patients and directed to bring innovations and expand facilities.
He also directed to further equip the diagnostic and ICU department with more facilities. He visited the pediatrics and family unit of the Holy Family Hospital. He directed the health minister to submit a detailed report on Holy Family Hospital by Tuesday evening.
