NEW YORK: Exxon Mobil Corp plans to fully restart its 365,644 bpd refinery in Beaumont, Texas, by the end of the week after a electrical fire forced the company to shut the plant on Saturday, according to three sources familiar with the plant's operations.
The company said a transformer fire caused a loss of steam, causing the controlled shutdown.
