LISBON: Portugal's IGCP debt agency said on Friday it plans gross bond issuance of 15.4 billion euros this year, with auctions planned for the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month as in previous years.
The agency said this year's net financing requirement is around 8.6 billion euros. It added that treasury bill auctions will take place on the third Wednesday of every month, with the possibility of holding auctions on the first Wednesday as well, depending on investor demand.
The agency will continue to consider repurchase operations and launch new bond issues when there are opportunities to carry them out, it said.
