Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Engr Iqbla Zafar Jhagra has congratulated the countrymen in general and the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in particular and appealed them to maintain unity in their ranks; uphold the spirit of brotherhood; be fully conscious to the situation in their surroundings; make the needy and deserving citizens especially those whose near and dear ones have sacrificed their precious lives for the security of the country and share the joys of Eid with them.
In a message issued on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr he said, a sublime religious festival of Islam is observed by Muslims across the world today as a reward from Almighty Allah to faithful for fasting with the spirit of sacrifice; self restraint and devotion.
This religious festival marks the culmination point of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak and its festivities carries tremendous message for the believers. The core spirit of both Ramazan-ul-Mubarak followed by Eid-ul-Fitr truly stresses observing discipline in routine life, respect for fellow human beings, realize the difficulties which deserving ones have been confronting; and above all to develop the spirit of tolerance; courage and steadfastness in every hour of trial and promote the spirit of brother hood, commitment and unity amongst the society.
Each and every religious ritual of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak followed by Eid-ul-Fitr stresses the faithful to be patient, accommodative and tolerant in their routine lives.
