Chairman Qaumi Watan Party Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao has called upon all the political parties to play their due role on the holding of general elections in a transparent way. He said that the transition of the political power is good omen for the country.
He was speaking at a news conference at Watan Kor on Thursday wherein Amir Sohail from Malakand of the PTI along with his family members and scores of supporters announced to join the QWP. They reposed confidence on the leadership of Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao and party provincial chairman Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao. Aftab Sherpao warmly welcomed the new entrants.
The QWP chairman harshly criticized the failed policies of the PTI in the province during its government. He said that an environment of fake change was created on the social media while on ground nothing had been done. He said that the real face of the PTI has been exposed and the masses will reject them through the power their votes.
He said that after the KP-Fata merger it was necessary to pay immediate attention to the neglected areas and put them on the path of development. He demanded that handsome funds should be earmarked to to bring revolutionary changes in their socio economic conditions. QWP chairman said the controversial issues like Kalabagh Dam had been brought to the limelight where as the issues pertaining to the Pakhtun's rights had been put on the backburner.
