Light rain, thunderstorm likely at isolated places

Light rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in next 24 hours while partly cloudy weather is likely in most upper and western parts of the country. Rainfall is forecast in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Rawalpindi divisions and upper FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during this time span.
Dry continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A fresh westerly wave is likely to enter in western parts of the country from Monday (night), an official of met office told APP. In last 24 hours weather remained dry in most parts of the country. Minimum temperatures recorded on Sunday remained: Skardu -01 C, Astore, Kalam 00 C. Gilgit 03 C, Dir 06 C, Chitral 07 C, Quetta, Muzaffarabad, Murree 09 C, Islamabad 12 C, Peshawar 13 C, Faisalabad 14 C, Lahore 15 C, Multan 16 C, Hyderbad 18 C and Karachi 21 C.
