The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) seems to have emerged as a strong anti-graft body under the leadership of former Justice Javed Iqbal. That the incumbent NAB chairman is quite serious towards making his organisation credible is a fact that finds its reflection from NAB executive board meetings that he presides over to take decisions. In its last meeting, the NAB approved filing of three supplementary corruption references against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his family in connection with three corruption references filed earlier by the anti-graft body in an accountability court.
The laundry list of his decisions doesn't end year; he has also ordered inquiries against Shahbaz Sharif, Imran Khan, Pervez Khattak and others. Actions speak louder than words.
