18 crime cases reported in Islamabad

Over nine cases of various kinds of thefts, dacoities and snatching at gunpoint, five cases of motor vehicle theft, three cases of kidnapping and one case of murder were reported to various police stations of the city during the last week. According to the data gathered by Business Recorder through registered first information reports (FIRs), most favourite areas for the criminal gangs were within the limits of Khanna, Bhara Kahu and Lohi Bher police stations during the last week.
Khanna police station registered one case each of snatching, stealing and kidnapping. Iftikhar Ali filed a complaint with Khanna police station that two unknown armed robbers riding a bike snatched cash and a mobile phone from him and escaped. One Mushtaq Ahmed field a complaint with the same police station that unidentified people stole his two buffalos. One Muhammad Bilal lodged a complaint with Khanna police station that accused Akhtar along with four unknown accomplices kidnapped his daughter.
During the last week, Bhara Kahu police station registered one case each of kidnapping and snatching at gunpoint. Arshad Hussain lodged a complaint with Bhara Kahu police station that accused Faiz Muhammad kidnapped his wife while another Muhammad Aamir lodged a complaint with the same police station that accused Shahid and others snatched a mobile phone and cash from him.
In the aforementioned period, Golra police station registered one each case of robbery and snatching at gunpoint. One Sohail Mustafa filed a complaint with Golra police station that unknown person killed his brother Junaid Mustaf after snatching his car bearing registration number AEG-658.
Another Mehmoodul Hassan informed Golra police station that unknown robbers stole cash and other valuables from his shop. Lohi Bher police station registered one case each of robbery and kidnapping. Ashraf Shehbaz told that unknown bandits stole cash and watches from his house. Raja Nasir Raza informed Lohi Bher police that unknown persons kidnapped his uncle Yasir and brother Murtaza.
During the last week, Secretariat, Kohsar, Industrial Area, Aabpara and Tarnol police stations registered one case of auto theft while Bani Gala and Sihala police stations registered one each of robbery.
