CBOT corn futures flat

Chicago Board of Trade corn futures ended near unchanged on Wednesday, underpinned by concerns over drought-reduced production in Argentina but capped by ample global supplies, traders said. CBOT March corn settled 1/4 cent higher at $3.65-3/4 a bushel after earlier slipping to a 1-1/2 week low of $3.64-1/4.
A four-month drought in Argentina, the world's No. 3 corn exporter, is threatening to bite deeper into crop yields, with scant rains through next month. Investors are awaiting the latest supply and demand updates from the US Department of Agriculture, which is hosting its annual outlook conference this week.
