Samba Bank's PAT increases to Rs 544.602 million

The profit after tax of Samba Bank has increased to Rs 738.853 million in the year ended December 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 544.602 million earned in the corresponding period in 2016. The board of directors of the bank in its meeting held here on Thursday declared that the bank's earning per share increased to Rs 0.73 in the period under review against Rs 0.54 in the same period a year ago.
According to the financial results sent to Pakistan Stock Exchange, the bank's profit before taxation increased to Rs 930.928 million in the year 2017 as compared to Rs 926.455 million earned in the same period in 2016.
