Pakistan People's Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has made it clear that his party will not make efforts in future to save the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). "We have saved their government twice, we will not save them again," he has been quoted as saying by the media. The former president was addressing PPP's golden jubilee rally organised at the capital's Parade Ground. On that occasion, Bilawal interestingly advised Nawaz Sharif to take retirement from politics. According to him, Nawaz should take retirement for the betterment of democracy and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
The question is why Zardari has taken a strong position in relation to Nawaz Sharif. He has accused former prime minister of emptying the national coffers! This leads to another question: Is he criticising Nawaz for a fault he also possesses - the pot calling the kettle black.
