The Islamabad Police on Wednesday conducted a search operation in areas of Industrial Area and Nilore police stations and arrested 19 suspects besides impounding 30 bikes and four vehicles having no documents, a police spokesman said. The officials of Islamabad Police conducted search operation in various areas of Industrial Area and Nilore under supervision of Superintendents of Police (Rural and Industrial area). The search operation was also participated by police commandos, lady commandos and staff of Bomb Disposal Squad, said a press release.
They screened 100 houses, checked more than 100 persons and arrested 19 suspects, besides impounding 30 bikes and four vehicles having no documents. Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Islamabad Sajid Kiani has said the purpose of this search operation and high vigilance is to ensure foolproof security in the city and he further directed all SHOs to continue it.-PR
