Yasir Shah believes Pakistan has finally found Misbah, Younis replacements

Pakistan leg spinner Yasir Shah believes that Pakistan has finally found a ‘suitable replacement’ in Haris Sohail for the legendary batsmen Misbah-ul-Haq and Younis Khan.

“We were all worried as to what will happen when Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq retire and what will be the state of Pakistan's batting, but I don't think we should worry as Haris Sohail has already shown what a fine batsman he is. He is a suitable replacement for Younis and Misbah and is exactly what Pakistan cricket needed, especially the Test team.” said Yasir Shah, quoted PakPassion.net.

The left-handed middle order batsman played a crucial knock of 147 runs against New Zealand and alongside Babar Azam, who scored a century himself took Pakistan to a respectable total of 415 runs in the first innings.

The leggie opined that Haris Soahil has all the ingredients to succeed into the Test format.  “He has great temperament, he is calm and has a very good technique. Haris is a proper Test batsman who has the rare ability to occupy the crease for long periods,” added Yasir.

Pakistan beat the Kiwis in the second Test match by an inning and 16 runs, on the back of leg spinner Yasir Shah record breaking 14-wickets haul.
