RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Friday at 23,503.98 points with a positive change of 197.47 and volume of 191,004,400 shares. High and Low were 23,787.47 and 23,273.94 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 20 were up, 9 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 292,381,520 shares. Total companies traded were 377 of which 253 were positive, 107 were negative and 17 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 51,246,850 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 37,234,900 shares.
