PMEX daily trading report

On Tuesday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,081. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 3.92 billion and the number of lots traded was 8,882. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 2.09 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.14 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 494.69 million, silver PKR 146.96 million, copper PKR 33.38 million and Brent crude oil PKR 8.73 million. In addition to this, in agricultural commodities, 41 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 16.82 million were also traded.
