WARSAW: Poland has already financed 68 percent of its borrowing needs for 2018 as defined in this year's budget law, the finance ministry said in a statement on Friday.
Taking into account the most recent finance ministry assumptions regarding the 2018 deficit, Poland has now financed 78 percent of this year's borrowing needs, the ministry said. Its budget draft for 2019 anticipates a lower budget deficit for this year than initially planned.
The ministry also said that at switch tenders it had prefinanced 6 percent of its 2019 borrowing needs. The ministry released details of debt supply for September earlier on Friday.
