Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has solarized 160 irrigation tube-wells during last two and half years in the province. The largest numbers of tube-wells (14) are solarized in district Nowshera; the home district of Chief Minister Pervez Khattak followed by 13 in D.I. Khan and 12 each in districts Peshawar and Mardan and 10 each in districts Charsadda and Swat. Similarly, 9 each tube-well has been solarized in Swabi, Malakand and 8 each in districts Kohat and Haripur.
