Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) urged the Sindh government that the period of special powers of Pakistan Rangers in Karachi should be extended as the law and order situation should not deteriorate again. President HCCI, Goharullah expressed views in the statement released here on Monday. "Team of Rangers under supervision of DG Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar restored law and order situation in the Karachi", the statement said while quoting him as sayings.
Besides, the incidents of extortions, kidnapping and other criminal activities witnessed a decline and made better environment in Karachi where the business activities surged recently, he added. If the extension was not given to Rangers, it would cause various issues for people and again people would have to face same issues as earlier, he added. He demanded from Sindh Government to extend in the period of the powers of Rangers as the common can spend safe life.
