Rehan Hannan and Naveed Ahmed have been elected unopposed as Chairman and Vice Chairman of Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) South Zone for 2015-16. In the annual elections held at PTA South Zone premises the other day, general body also elected members of executive committee. The elected members are Abdul Salam, Abrar Ahmed, Shaikh Muhammad Imran, Amir Majeed, Javed Tariq Shaikh, Yousuf Shafiq,Tahir Mushtaq and Muhammad Shahid.
Speaking on the occasion the newly elected Chairman Rehan Hannan paid rich tributes to the services of outgoing chairman Hamid A Zahur and vowed to accomplish his incomplete projects and strive for the betterment of the tannery zone. He said that his first priority would be to provide water to the tanneries that facing drought in the area for the last many years.
