ISE index down by 84.55 points

Bears dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Monday, where equities showed negative signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 84.55 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,383.03 to 3,298.48 points. The overall turnover amounted to 401,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 17,200 shares.
Total 148 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (99) closed in negative territory, 49 landed in plus column and zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of K-Electric was 350,000 shares. The volume of Byco Petroleum was 15,000 shares. The volume of Lafrage Pakistan Cement was 15,000 shares.
