RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Friday at 23,242.65 points with a positive change of 207.68 and volume of 106,135,700 shares. High and Low were 23,339.72 and 23,034.97 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 17 were up, 13 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 203,027,240 shares. Total companies traded were 375 of which 198 were positive, 158 were negative and 19 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 34,430,400 shares. It was followed by Textile Spinning with a total traded volume of 23,331,220 shares.
