The Home Department has deployed 200 police personnel at entry and exit points of the provincial capital for security ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr. Official sources said, here on Thursday that several measures have been taken to ensure foolproof security of the metropolis on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
"About 200 police personnel have been deployed on entry and exit points of the city besides installation of 83 CC TV cameras on these points," they said, adding that barriers were also installed at 20 points in the city. They said that 5,000 personnel of law enforcement agencies including Anti-Terrorist Force, Police and Balochistan Constabulary would perform their security duty on the occasion of Eid while police teams would continue their patrolling on main city roads to avert any untoward incident.
