Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here on Friday. Matters of mutual interest and development projects were discussed in the meeting. The Chief Minister said that national economy has stabilised due to solid policies of Pakistan Muslim League-N government while relief has been provided to the masses in the real sense by reducing electricity tariff and the rate of petroleum products.
He said PML-N government led by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is moving ahead on national issues with mutual consensus and every effort of the government is directed towards progress and prosperity of the masses. He said that electricity is being produced by the 100-megawatt power station set up by the provincial government with its own resources at Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park. Moreover he said, work is being carried out speedily on other projects of power generation and a number of such projects will be generating thousands of megawatts electricity during next three years.
