Advisor to Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz called on Afghan Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani on Friday in Kuwait on the sidelines of the 42nd OIC Council of Ministers. The two ministers reviewed the implementation of the understandings reached during the recent visit of the Prime Minister of Pakistan to Kabul. They reiterated the need for intensifying bilateral co-operation between the two countries in diverse fields.
They also discussed the ongoing co-operation between Pakistan and Afghanistan in facilitating Afghan-led and Afghan-owned process of reconciliation in Afghanistan and the upcoming Heart of Asia Conference to be hosted by Pakistan.
