Sharjeel Memon, Sindh Information Minister and PPP leader on Friday challenged the democratic credentials of both Arbab Ghulam Rahim and Liaquat Ali Jatoi, saying both of them came to power with the support of dictators. Reacting to criticism by Rahim and Jatoi on governance in Sindh, Memon said that worst incidents of violence occurred in the tenure of Arbab Ghulam Rahim.
While talking to media outside the Sindh Assembly, Memon said that incident like attack on Benazir Bhutto at Karzaz and May 12 killings took place when Rahim was the chief minister of Sindh. "Arbab Rahim and Liaquat Jatoi were introduced in the politics by dictators," he added. While replying to a question, the Minister said that criticism is always welcome but it should be constructive.
