Slight chances of Eid-ul-Fitr on Friday

As the Muslims celebrate their 29th Ramazan on Thursday (today), all eyes wait for the first sight of the moon as there are still slight chances of Eid-ul-Fitr being celebrated tomorrow (Friday).
The Central Ruet-e-Hilal committee, will meet in the evening today in Karachi for sighting Shawwal moon.The meeting will take place under the chairmanship of Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman.
However, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) informed the Ministry of Religious Affairs that there is a 'slight' chance of Shawwal moon to be sighted today. Based on scientific calculations, the PMD stated that chances are higher of Eid-ul -Fitr being celebrated on June 16 (Saturday) across Pakistan.
The government has already announced a four-day long holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr from June 15 till June 18.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia who started their first Ramazan on the May 17 along with Pakistan, are expected to celebrate their Eid on Friday (tomorrow). Saudi King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz announced a 10-day Eid-ul-Fitr holidays for public sector employees.
