COAS leaves for Kabul to meet Afghan president

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa Tuesday left for Kabul to meet President Afghanistan, Ashraf Ghanni on his invitation.

“Army chief left for Kabul to meet President Ashraf Ghani on his invitation,” Director General, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Asif Ghaffor Tuesday tweeted.

“Pakistan wishes to see national unity government and US/NATO succeeding to bring peace in Afghanistan,” he added.
