ISLAMABAD: Qiyam-ul-Lail is continuing at Faisal Mosque in collaboration with Dawah Academy of International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) and Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony in the last Ashra of Ramazan.
Qiyam-ul-Lail (Mehfil-e-Shabeena) commenced from 21st of Ramadan will continue till 29th of the holy month. Qiyam ul Lail starts at 11am and ends at 2am every night.
Qiyam-ul-Lail benefits over 700 Moataikifeen as they listen the Holy Quran till Sehri. Ministry has replaced Mehfil-e-Shabina with Qiyam-ul-Lail in Faisal Mosque aiming to cover the odd nights of entire last Ashra. Ministry had already selected 14 renowned Qurra from across the country for reciting the holy Quran during Qiyam al Lail (Mehafil e Shabina).
