Tokyo: Tokyo stocks rose Monday as investors awaited a historic US-North Korea summit and central bank meetings of major economies this week.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index added 0.48 percent or 109.54 points to close at 22,804.04 while the broader Topix index rose 0.30 percent or 5.40 points at 1,786.84.
